Rik Lonsdale‘s lifelong desire to write had been held in check through three previous careers and the raising of children. Eventually he was able to turn his energies to learning the art and craft of writing.

"Water and Blood", Rik's first novel, is inspired by his concern for the future of civilisation and humanity.

Rik lives in Dorset, UK. When he isn't writing you can probably find him at the bottom of his garden tending his vegetable plot.
